.... I have travelled the world but have rarely found such excellent, comfortable, interesting accommodation.
It is a large old house right in the centre of Landskrona overlooking a park, full of interesting items.
The bedroom was lovely and very relaxing. I was going to eat dinner out but decided to eat in my room in order to soak up the ambience of the room with its tasteful decoration and furniture. The breakfast was a revelation and could not be bettered anywhere.
The host, Heidi, was an intelligent conversationalist, who clearly had the welfare and comfort of her guests at heart. A truly great place to stay.
My only regret? I only stayed there one night. Next time it will be much longer.

Loved it! Although we booked a double room, on arrival, we were upgraded to a small apartment with a little kitchen and a dining table which made our stay at Marienborg even better. The room was nice and full of character and the bed was very comfy.
Heidi, the owner, went out of her way to make our short stay in Landskrona even more pleasurable by being so helpful. The guesthouse is in a great quiet location: there's a park just across the road, it's close to some shops and about 20mn walk from the harbour to take the boat to Ven. Definitely going back.

Kære Heidi, ja det kalder jeg dig efter dit internet.
Hvor var vi overvældede over den herlige måde du tog imod os, der kom både friske pærer og der var chokolade,
I det hele taget var det som at komme hjem til Mama. Til sidst kom du med plasticposer så vi kunne rydde frokostbordet.
Og så var der parkeringsplads, lige ved hotellet. Vi vil gerne anbefale det til venner og vores börn.

Hotellets värdinna Heidi förgyllde även vår vistelse med ett mycket trevligt och proffsigt bemötande samt med en härlig humor som gjorde vår vistelse extra trivsam.

Hotelli sijaitsee noin viiden minuutin päässä moottoritiestä, Landskronan keskustassa. Hotellin omistaja oli erittäin ystävällinen, palvelu oli täydellistä ja aamiainen oli herkullinen ja runsas. Perhehuoneemme oli erittäin iso ja siisti. Suosittelen!

Our upgraded apartment was extremely comfortable with a bedroom/sitting room, an additonal bedroom and a lovely sunny kitchen with all amenities. We also had access to a laundry so, compared to staying in hotels, it was like a home away from home in our travels. Our host was very friendly and obliging - amongst other things, finding a replacement phone charger for the one our daughter had left at a previous hotel. All in all, the best value in 6 weeks travelling in Scandinavia.

..Trevlig och personlig service (som blivit så sällsynt på större hotell nu för tiden). Man känner sig verkligen som gäst (nära vän på besök) och inte bara som ett "bokningsnummer". Riklig och god frukost serverad på rummet.Lugnt och tyst.Inga ansträngningar sparades för att jag som besökare skulle ha det så bra som möjligt. T.o.m. "transporthjälp". Jag har bott på många olika slags hotell i olika delar av världen, men besöket på Marienborg var en unik upplevelseJag trodde inte att sådan service och sådant gäst omhändertagande existerade längre

........Vi möttes i entrén av den fantastiskt trevliga Heidi, som visade oss vårt boende. Fastigheten påminde om Hallwylska i Stockholm, äldre högreståndsbostad. Vi saknade absolut ingenting. Bästa boendet på vår 420 mil långa resa.  Monica,  Falun, April 2011

- That was a very good hotel , nice rooms good bed and nice bathroom, and big kitchen, and the breakfast was super with all u need,and there was no problem to join the hotel late.The service there was also super.I only stay there 1 night ,but next time I visit this town again I will take a room there . regards from jylland, denmark.
